2008/2009 year school visits:

Lawson Elementary 1st Graders:

What fun we had on the 10th!  You were all great citizens and very kind to me as your guest!  Here is the Story Pop that you created!  The underlined words are the words that you "popped"!  Great Work!!!

The Big Soccer Game!!!

A cat ran into the soccer game and kicked the ball into the soccer goal.  Then the cat slid into the goal.  Then Lillian went to the concession stand.  At the concession stand she bought a basketball.  The basketball broke through the window.  A dragon ate the basketball and it popped!!!!  The End

~  Several of you mentioned after our visit that the dragon must have been a JOHNSTON Dragon!  I agree! Wink

Lawson Elementary 2nd Graders:  Thank you for a great visit!  Your imagination was wonderful and it was so much fun to hear the story you came up with.  You were all very polite and had GREAT questions!

Westridge Elementary 1st Graders:  Thank you Westridge!  You all sat SO nicely and were all very polite and great citizens.  I felt very welcomed at your school and you had wonderful questions!

Sapphire Gymnastics book signing:  Date to be announced

Rockwell City-Lytton Elementary 1st-4th:  Rockwell City-Lytton ROCKS!  :)  All of you were so kind and very respectful.  You did a fantastic job asking questions and sat very nicely through the whole presentation.

Beaver Creek Elementary 3rd Graders:  Thank you for a fantastic visit!  You had wonderful questions and so many of you are interested in being writers!  That is great!!!  I noticed some of you wearing finger knit scarves just like Mandy in The Fashion Experiment!  That was so cool to see some of you wearing them!  A special thank you to Olivia Chamberlain for telling your teacher about my books.  Thank you!  Thank you!  Laughing

To all that I met with in 2008/2009 Thank YOU for inviting me to visit.  Everyone was so accomodating and excited about the visit!  It was an honor to meet all of you.  I hope to visit again in 2009/2010!  See you soon!
